About the job

Do you want the most fun job of the summer while contributing to our visitors having a fantastic experience in Karlshamn and its surroundings? We are now looking for a tourist information officer for our seasonal tourist information during the period 260608-260816. The position is part-time, 80%, and is scheduled including weekend work.

The work involves:

• Providing the best possible service to both Swedish and international guests – at the tourist information center, via email, phone, and chat.
• Administrative work including the website.
• Being part of our mobile tourist information on an electric bike.
• Participating in the work during the Baltic Sea Festival in week 29.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who…

• Is cheerful, organized, and has a strong sense of service and hospitality.
• Has good local knowledge of Karlshamn and Blekinge.
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish, as well as good knowledge of English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
• Is at least 18 years old before the start date.
• Holds a B driver's license.

Experience from previous work at tourist information or tourism-related companies is an advantage.
